Sewing Party for Beginners!

Have you always wanted to learn how to sew but didn't know where to start? or are you looking for a fun activity to do with friends and/or family? This sewing party is a great way to learn to do just that! Our hosts will guide you step by step to help you sew your item like a pro! This sewing party isn't limited to beginners only! We welcome all guest at any experience level!

This class is for ages 12+ and older.

In this sewing party for beginners, you will learn the following:

• Machine Basics
• Simple Stitches
• Pattern Reading
• Layout & Cutting
• Seam Allowances

For this class you will need the following:

• Sewing machine (Don't have one? No problem! You can borrow one from us. Limited quantities available.)
• Scissors
• Marker, Pen, or any marking tool of your preference. Please note that this will be used to trace on your fabric.
• Fabric & Thread will be provided for you. 

This sewing party will be hosted at the Harlingen Cultural Arts Center, Studio A - 576 76 Dr, Harlingen, TX 78550. 

You may arrive up to 15 minutes early to set up your designated station. The class will start on time so please ensure that you have enough time to arrive & set up. There is a 15 minute grace period after the scheduled time. If you are not present after the 15 minute grace period, you will not be allowed entry. 

The class is typically 2 hours long from start to finish. Refreshments & snacks will be provided for guests.

This class is by reservation only. Only persons with a ticket may participate. Due to safety regulations, we kindly ask that only the persons who have booked with us may be present during the class. No additional guests are allowed to enter the studio.

Please note that the full payment is required to secure your seat and no refunds will be issued for cancellations made .
